Girls’ Corner

Girls’ Corner is an interactive lecture that teaches girls about menstrual and reproductive health. In a safe and friendly setting, participants learn more about the menstrual cycle, hygiene and the changes that come with growing up, and can openly ask whatever they want to know. The lecture aims to bust myths, encourage healthy habits and help girls understand their own bodies.
Men issues

Men Issues is an interactive lecture on men’s health and growing up. Participants learn more about puberty, reproductive and sexual health, disease prevention, mental health and why it matters to look after their own bodies. The lecture aims to give reliable information, encourage open discussion and bust myths about men’s health.
HIV Is Not AIDS

HIV Is Not AIDS is an educational lecture by SCORA that raises awareness of HIV – how it is transmitted, how to prevent it and how it can be treated. It explains the difference between HIV and AIDS and promotes tolerance towards people living with HIV. The goal is to give participants reliable information about HIV, encourage responsible behaviour and show that people living with HIV can lead full lives with the right treatment.
Sex education

Sex Education is a lecture that gives young people reliable information about sexuality, relationships, reproductive health and responsible behaviour. It aims to create a safe space for discussion, break down myths and support informed decisions about sexual and reproductive health.
Part 1: Growing up and reproductive health
Participants learn about the changes that come with puberty, how the reproductive system works and the menstrual cycle. This part helps them better understand their own bodies and the natural process of growing up.
Part 2: Relationships, consent and communication
This part covers building healthy relationships, mutual respect, communication and the meaning of consent. It encourages a responsible approach to relationships and helps prevent inappropriate behaviour.
Part 3: Contraception and STI prevention
Participants learn about the available methods of contraception, their advantages and ways to protect themselves against sexually transmitted infections. The focus is on prevention and informed decisions.
Part 4: Sexuality, stereotypes and myths
The last part looks at the most common myths and prejudices about sexuality. It encourages critical thinking, tolerance and a safe space for open discussion of topics that are often taboo.
A shorter version of the lecture, Sex-ed, is also available.
Puberty

Puberty is an interactive lecture about the physical, psychological and emotional changes of growing up. Participants get reliable information about how their bodies work, hormonal changes, personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle.
Topics:
- physical changes during puberty,
- hormonal changes and how they affect the body,
- personal hygiene and looking after your health,
- emotional changes and mental health,
- building self-confidence and a positive relationship with your body.
The lecture helps young people better understand growing up, overcome uncertainty and take a healthy approach to their bodies and mental well-being.
The lecture is suitable for all students, regardless of gender.
