What we do and what we aim for

Research around the world, experience for you.

The aim of research exchanges is to arrange professional placements abroad for students, make sure their stay runs smoothly, and welcome international students to our faculty.

The exchanges are mainly for students in years 1 to 3 who do not yet have enough experience or knowledge to work in a hospital but still want the chance to go abroad. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, see how research works around the world, collect new memories and make international friends.

Become a Contact Person (CP)!

We do our best to make incoming international students’ stay as enjoyable as possible. If you like meeting new people, want to practise your English or are just looking for company for a coffee, this is a great opportunity for you – and you earn extra points for exchanges and student housing.

Ideally, combine being a contact person with your summer hospital placement – that way your accommodation is covered, you get extra points and a great programme for your free time.

How do I get an exchange?

  1. Exchange testCompleting and passing an English language test.
  2. VolunteeringYour activity during the academic year raises your chances of an exchange in your dream country. The more points you collect, the better your position when destinations are chosen.
